Self-Conception

The CEJ offers intellectuals a platform for civic engagement with the intent to actively get involved in the creation of Europe. Students are also called upon to approach the network's administrative staff with their ideas and to proactively realize these within the framework provided by the CEJ.

The CEJ comprehend Europe as a political, societal and artistic process and, thus, supports the following ideas:

  • Promoting the tought of a unified and mutually-solidary Europe
  • Mediating scientific and cultural questions, issues and findings regarding the future of Europe to the general public
  • Bringing together  perspectives from the natural & human sciences, arts and the political field in order to engage a fruitful, trans- & interdisciplinary exchange

The CEJ understands Europe not only as a topic but mainly as a dialog.
