In order to be able to travel by bike, it has to work. However, not everyone knows how to repair their own bike and is familiar with gears, brakes and the like. On our bike repair day, we want to work together with the ADFC Jena-SaaletalExternal link to offer all affiliates of the university the opportunity to repair their own bike and get help from experts. Whether it's a flat tyre, broken front light or faulty brakes: you can get your bike back in shape under the expert guidance of the staff at the ADFC volunteer workshop!
The support is free of charge. Tools etc. will be available on site. Standard spare parts will be handed out at cost price. You should bring your own special spare parts (e.g. cassettes, gear levers) - and of course your own bike!
