Types of Partnership Agreements

To support a wide range of collaborative activities, UJena offers several partnership frameworks tailored to different institutional goals and areas of cooperation.

These include:

  • Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) for establishing strategic institutional partnerships
  • Student and Staff Exchange Agreements to facilitate international mobility
  • Agreements on Academic Cooperation and Exchange for broader collaboration in teaching, research, and academic activities
  • Double Degree Agreements enabling students to earn degrees from both partner institutions
  • Joint Degree Agreements for the development and delivery of integrated study programmes
  • Erasmus+ Agreements supporting mobility and cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework
  • Binational Joint Doctorate (Cotutelle) Agreements allowing doctoral candidates to be jointly supervised and awarded degrees by two institutions

How Do We Get Started?

Establishing a partnership with UJena is a straightforward process designed to identify shared interests and create a strong foundation for long-term collaboration.

Step 1: Submit a Partnership Proposal

Complete and submit the Partnership Proposal Formdocx, 3 mb · de,  providing information about your institution and the intended areas of cooperation.

Step 2: Internal Review and Assessment

We review your proposal to identify potential synergies and assess opportunities for collaboration. During this stage, we consult with the relevant faculties, departments, and administrative units at the University.

Step 3: Develop the Partnership Framework

Based on the proposed collaboration, we determine the most suitable partnership model and prepare a draft agreement. We then work closely with your institution to refine the document and ensure that it reflects our shared objectives.

Step 4: Approval and Signature

Once both institutions have agreed on the final version, the agreement proceeds through the necessary approval processes and is formally signed by the authorized representatives of both institutions.
