Newspapers want catchy headlines, scientists care about the details. The dichotomy and tension between the media and scientists will be addressed in a talk by Kai Kupferschmidt, who is a leading science journalist and correspondent of Science magazine. It is organised by the Jena School for Microbial Communication (JSMC) and open to all with an interest in science communication and journalism. The talk will take place on 19 September at 16.00h in the Aula of the FSU main university building (Fürstengraben 1).
