How do I apply? How do I finance my studies? Can I also go abroad during my studies? What can I even study in Jena? And how do I find the right subject for me? You will find answers to all of these questions at the University Information Days Jena (HIT).

The preparations for the next online information days have already started. You can make a note of the date: from 17 to 31 May 2021 a online programme will give you a comprehensive insight into studying at the University Jena. Various live events and digital offers allow you to find out about the range of courses and study conditions on site.

You will find specific information about the programme on this page soon. In the meantime, you are welcome to use our digital offers for prospective students. If you want to talk to students directly, it is best to ask your questions in the student chat.

What can I expect?

  • In a virtual exhibition room, you can head to various booths where the individual areas of the university are presented: from the institutes and their courses to institutions such as the International Office, which provides information about stays abroad during your studies.

  • In addition to short explanatory videos and online lectures, there are various live offers. Prospective students can also contact lecturers and students either by video chat or telephone and ask them about the desired course of study or student life in Jena.

  • With 360-degree tours you can also explore the main university building, the campus or the botanical garden in Jena on your own with a click of the mouse. Photo galleries give you impressions of laboratory internships and excursions, for example.

  • You will find a download area at each of our stands: There we will store all important information material, flyers, brochures and further links for you.
