Welcome to the Language Centre HomepageFindUsonFacebook

The Language Centre offers classes in a wide range of languages, including modern European languages and non-European languages. For most our courses you can obtain ECTS points, based on participation and achievement. Our courses are open to students from all faculties, department and institutes as well as to students from other regional higher education providers and of course, graduate students from Masters and Doctoral programmes. Additionally, university employees, either teaching staff, research staff or administrative staff, and their family members are also welcome in our courses. Private individuals, with no direct connection to the university, but with an interest in learning a language, may also register as guest students.

A list of the courses we offer can be found in the Friedolin Course Catalogue. There, you will find more information about course objectives and requirements and information about ECTS points. You will need to check with your own faculty's Exam Office and study regultions to ensure that any credit points you obtain will be recognized. The Language Centre has no influence over any faculty's study requirements. Please bear in mind that most of our language course require a nominal payment. For more information, please click here.
