* further education courses offered by Division 5 – Human Resources which are carried out by the Language Centre.

In General

The amount stated refers to a single course and a single semester. Please transfer the money only after you have been admitted to your chosen course in the online administration system Friedolin.

Language Courses during the Semester (except DaF)

Present proof of payment including details of account holder and account number to your course instructor no later than the second week after your course starts. Only a bank statement containing your name is considered valid. Employees of the FSU as well as Doctoral students of other German institutes of higher education and guests without student status must also present their course participant application form to the course instructor.

Exemption from payment of course fees Show content

Mandatory program according to study regulations

If participation in a language course is part of your mandatory program according to your study regulations, you do not need to pay the course fees.

Please find out if this applies to you by checking either in your study regulations or with your responsible examination office before making any payment. As proof of your mandatory participation present the respective paragraph of your study regulations at the SPZ secretary’s office.

Further education for employees of the FSU

Some FSU employees may be required to participate in language courses. In such cases, the course fees may be covered - partly or completely – by your Department or Institute. Please contact your line manager.

Compulsory elective courses/ ASQ-modules

For compulsory elective courses, i.e. courses that can be recognized as ASQ-modules (Allgemeine Schlüsselqualifikationen), there is no exemption from paying the course fees.

Intensive courses from July to September (except DaF)
