Think Tank "Social Innovation in Time of Crisis" on 15 March 2023 in Jena.

Climate change, energy crisis or migration - our society is currently facing many challenges. In the think tank "Social Innovations in Times of Crisis", experts from the city, science and society will discuss social approaches to these challenges on March 15, 2023 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Jena Rathausdiele. Citizens of the city are cordially invited to join the conversation with their experiences and questions

Panel guests include Eberhard Hertzsch - Head of Department for Family, Education and Social Affairs of the City of Jena, Christine Schickert - Managing Director of "Strukturwandel des Eigentums" (Structural Change in and through Property) at the University of Jena, Anna Uslowa - Head of Language Support at Kindersprachbrücke, Andreas Mehlich - Neighborhood Manager Winzerla and lecturer at Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences, and Julia Brade - Head of the Thuringian Center for Intercultural Opening. The event will be moderated by Dana Strauß, managing director of the JenaVersum network

Parallel Events across Europe

The think tank in Jena is part of a Europe-wide series of events. Parallel events on the same topic will be held in the six other cities of the EC2U Alliance. The results of all think tanks will be presented publicly at the 6th EC2U Forum in Jena on May 25. The aim is to formulate a joint policy recommendation to strengthen knowledge transfer at local and European level.
