To report critical technical malfunctions or constructional and technical hazards as well as cases of severe technical faults in our electrical, heating, ventilation and sanitation systems please call: +49 3641 9-419777.

These telephone numbers should only be used for:

  • technical failures of building and supply systems that cause a disruption of courses or urgent on-going experimental work
  • hazardous or potentially hazardous building and supply technology conditions
  • critical constructional hazards
  • technical failures of telecommunications devices

Projectors and audio equipment

Since 1 September 2021, the Media Technology Unit is no longer managed by the Division for Construction and Facility Management. They are now part of the University Computer Centre’s Multimedia Centre de. To report any urgent cases of faulty equipment in lecture theatres, please call +49 3641 9-404777.

Outside opening hours

To report emergencies like critical technical malfunctions, constructional or technical hazards as well as severe faults of technical building systems outside university opening hours (7:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday) and during weekends (including public holidays), you can reach our technical on-call service by contacting our security service (Wachdienst):
