The University Archives will be open again from 17 May 2021. Due to the limited number of workplaces in the reading room, prior registration via our contact form is required.

University archives is open for use again under the following restrictions:

The number of workplaces in the reading room has been reduced to comply with the distance rules. Use is therefore only possible after prior written registration (2 working days before visiting the archive). We would like to ask you to use our contact form. Thank you very much.

People with obvious cold or flu symptoms are not allowed to enter the archive.

It is mandatory to wear your own mouth and nose protection.

Personal user advice can only be carried out to a limited extent and in compliance with the distance rules. Support for working on the PC and reading documents is therefore not possible.

The instructions of the archive staff regarding distance rules and hygiene regulations must be followed

Due to conservation measures archive groups E Abt. I and E Abt. II are only partially free for public use. Archive holdings U Abt. VIII is also only partially free for public use due to archival description. Thank you for your understanding. Archive holdings (university publications 1805-1990) cannot be used indefinitely. We ask for your understanding for these restrictions.
