What can I expect after my doctorate? How do I start my career outside academia? What opportunities do I have if I want to stay in academia? These are some of the many questions that doctoral candidates face prior to graduation. The digital event "Career Days" aims to provide some answers and orientation in planning the further career path after the doctorate. The Career Days will take place online from 08.11.2021 to 12.11.2021.

The event includes three formats: Short Workshops, Information Lectures and Career Talks. All sessions will be held in the language in which the summary is written.

All Short Workshops take place online and are scheduled as parallel sessions between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon. Please note that there is limited seating for these sessions. All workshops are fully booked. Take a look at our qualification portal for free places: qualification portalExternal link of the University of Jena.

The Information Lectures take place online in parallel in the afternoon between 14:00-15:00h. These are open access sessions, i.e. you do not have to register for them. The access data will be published on the website the day before the event.

The Career Talks take place online during the lunch break between 12:00-13:00h. They are open access sessions, i.e. you do not have to register for them. The access data will be published on the website the day before the event.
