Back up your data in the old account
As announced several times by the University Computing Center, the old Microsoft 365 client will be shut down on April 30, 2023. This affects all students and employees of the core university if they have registered for Microsoft 365 before September 2022. You can check this in our URZ-Service-PortalExternal link as shown in the screenshot.
If you have forgotten the password of your old Microsoft account, click on "Forgot password", you will immediately receive a mail. In the upper part of the Microsoft page of our URZ-Service-Portal you can register for a new account in the client of the Friedrich-Schiller-University.
The Microsoft account is necessary to use Microsoft cloud applications such as Teams, Office 365 and OneDrive. You can find more details in our URZ-KnowledgebaseExternal link.
