Ceremonial Matriculation
The University of Jena welcomes its new students in the winter semester 2025/26 with a ceremony in the Volkshaus Jena.
We celebrate your entry into our University, into the »Alma Mater Jenensis«, together with you—at the Ceremonial Matriculation on Thursday, 29 October 2025 at 2 pm. With this ceremony at the Volkshaus Jena, the Executive Board welcomes all newly enrolled students to the University of Jena for the winter semester.
Information
Seating in the Volkshaus is limited and the ticket allocation has been completely exhausted. Admission is only possible with a ticket.
