What we offer

  • internal courier services for the university library and internal mail
  • transport of materials (parcels, print orders, small-scale relocations, furniture removals)
  • transport of passengers to ministries, meetings, airports, etc.
  • transport of passengers and materials to fairs and exhibitions

To book a service, please send us an informal email.

What information do we need from you?

  • PASSENGER TRANSPORT:
    • name(s) and number of passengers
    • date and time of departure/arrival
    • destination address
    • expected time of return journey
    • special notes (e.g. lots of luggage, required stopovers)
  •  MATERIAL TRANSPORT:
    • date or time period
    • brief list of materials
    • destination address

If our Transport Services are unavailable, we will help you find an alternative solution such as:

  • booking an external removal company (large-scale material transports and relocations)
  • contracting external transport services
  • vehicle rentals

Terms of use

Please ensure

  • all items are packed safely and ready for transport and (un)loading (please use suitable cardboard boxes and crates to pack smaller items);
  • there are active helpers/caretakers for loading and unloading; and
  • there are transport aids to help with heavy or bulky items.

In accordance with Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act (Straßenverkehrsordnung, StVO), both drivers and senders are responsible for load securing. Our drivers will refuse any inadequately packaged material that cannot be transported safely.

  • What type of vehicles do you offer?
    • 2 cars (up to 3 passengers)
    • 2 minibuses (7 to 8 passengers)
    • 1 panel van
  • Do I need to submit a travel expense report?
    • All employees must apply for business travel and settle any travel expenses themselves. For more information, please contact the Office for Travel Expenses.

    • Faculties and institutes are charged for passenger and material transport per kilometre travelled. All costs are allocated internally.
  • Are transport services available to all staff?
    • Our ressources are mainly reserved for the university management (passenger and material transport, fairs) and for maintaining the university’s internal services (internal mail, courier services).
