Our team provides general information and advises students and prospective students. The Advisory Service is often the first point of contact for all questions relating to the decision to study, to studying itself as well as to social and personal problems at university and while studying.
Our services are always free of charge and optional.  If necessary, they can also be anonymous.

Services for prospective students

Individual study guidance Show content

This is primarily all about you. We focus on your situation and your concerns. We advise you in a confidential and objective manner helping you to discover your personal strengths, interests, and ideas for the future. This should enable you to find the right field of study.

Discovery Days Show content

Prospective students can attend courses offered in regular study programmes, both individually or in groups (e.g. school classes). Registration is necessary in both cases. Do you want to find out more about the Discovery Days?

Individual advisory services Show content

Our key task are counselling and helping our students embarking on their university studies. We also advise them when problems occur during their studies. In addition, we can help clear up questions related to career goals. To what extent can you put your studies into practice in professional context? Please do not hesitate to contact us and arrange an individual appointment.

The Central Student Advisory Service hosts workshops, either itself or in cooperation with experienced external trainers. In our workshops, you can learn and train methods and techniques useful for your studies.

The introductory phase does not end when the lecture period begins. For this reason, we want to support you in your first year of study with specific offers. Both giving you knowledge about study-specific methods and reflecting the beginning of your studies play a considerable role.
