Consultation possibilities of the Central Student Advisory Service

This is how you can reach the student advisors.

How to contact us

Reasons for contacting the Central Student Advisory Service are manifold. You can reach us in person, by phone, service desk or online via video consultation. Consider in advance which of the following formats fits your needs best.

1 Individual consultation in person, via phone or Zoom

Consultation hours

Monday, tuesday, thursday and friday from 9:00 to 12:20, wednesday and thursday 14:00 to 16:00 and tuesday 14:00 to 18:00


Please write a ticket via Service-DeskExternal link or call us monday to friday between 9:00 and 11:00 on +49 3641 9-411 111 to make an appointment.

Consultations take place either in person, as telephone consultation (we will give you a call at the agreed time) or via an individual Zoom meeting, we will send you individual login data. Please take note of the information on data protection [in German]pdf, 126 kb · de when using Zoom.

2 Open group video consultation via Zoom

Consultation hours

Monday to friday from 12:30 to 13:00

You can join via the following link: link  (password: ZSB2020). Open consultations are suitable for general information. Since these are drop-in sessions where several people may be seeking advice, we recommend that you clarify sensitive issues in one-on-one consultations. 3 Written consultation with academic advisors

Service-DeskExternal linkTo a limited extent, consultation by ticket is also possible. This applies in particular when the information and advice you seek is clearly communicable. More complex queries, however, are better clarified by phone, in person or within video consultations.

4 Talks with fellow students via Zoom
