Photo competition "Hats off!"

We've found the most beautiful doctoral hat! Almost 500 people voted online and chose Luosha Zhang's hat as the most beautiful doctor's hat of the past year. Zhang works at the Institute of Applied Optics. The lovingly designed hat shows a golden dragon floating in the Saale, a volleyball court, a table tennis table and the Jentower with a gigantic slide. 

Second place this year went to the hat of Francesco Vitale, who conducts research at the Institute of Solid State Physics. Third place went to Marta Gilaberte Basset's hat from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF).
