You can log your enquiries about studying and the ‘Deutschlandstipendium’ scholarship through the central portal of the University of Jena.

Quick, easy and solution-oriented: the Service Desk Portal

Some institutions of the University of Jena are already offering their advisory services via the central Service Desk Portal. Students, employees and external persons can directly submit their requests via the Portal in order to clarify questions or concerns or to receive assistance with certain topics.

This ticketing system allows for easy, fast and modern communication between the University administration and the person seeking advice. In the coming months, other institutions at the University of Jena will join the system.

Since its live launch, scholarship holders and applicants for the ‘Deutschlandstipendium’, for example, have been able to ask their questions directly through the Service Desk Portal. This service is now also available to all other current and prospective students of the University. You can find out how to use the Service Desk Portal on this page.

Access for prospective students and guests​

As an external user, you only have to register once on the website. After that, you can use all the functions if you are logged in.

  • Step 1: Go to the portal and click on ‘Für ein Konto registrieren’. Enter your email address and the displayed check code.
  • Step 2: After a few minutes, you will receive a notification from the Service Desk in the inbox of the email address you registered with. By clicking on the link in the email, you will be directed to the portal. The display will show the password screen, where you can set a password. Afterwards, you can log your request in the Service Desk Portal.

 

Access for University members and students

Only one step is required: Go to the portal and log in with your University login and password (URZ login credentials). You can then submit your request.
