Science Hostility and Hate Speech
Information Workshop on hate and Hostility towards Scientists and Science,
presented within the Postdoc Appreciation Week 2025
Science hostility and hate speech against researchers, science communicators and research institutions have increased noticeably, not least due to the coronavirus pandemic. But how can researchers and science communication respond to such attacks, prepare for them and find support? This workshop offers insights into the topic, presents advice and support services offered by the national contact point Scicomm-Support, creates space for personal exchange and provides practical tools through a group exercise. More information about the Scicomm-Support can be found online: www.scicomm-support.deExternal link.
