IDEAS - Experience Interculturality and Diversity by Studying Abroad
IDEAS is a project funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) that encourages the internationalisation of teacher training at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena. It is our goal to support students and teachers with intercultural trainings and a variety of intercultural learning opportunities to make them more sensitive for diversity of all kinds and further their pedagogical skills. Our focus is on interculturality, diversity and inclusion in the teacher training programme at Jena University. We build cooperations with different universities in both European and non-European countries. IDEAS offers scholarships, digital learning settings abroad and intercultural trainings as well as workshops and lectures in the scope of the teacher training.
