The Department of Musicology Weimar | Jena provides an unusually wide spectrum from the music of the Middle Ages to modern music of the 21st century, enriched by the fields of Transcultural Music Studies and the History of Jazz and Popular Music.
One half of the programme serves for the specialization in one of these profiles, whereas the other serves to deepen your knowledge in one of the core disciplines (history and systematics).
