The evening will be presented by Ingo Siegert (Deutsche Gesellschaft Juniorprofessur and Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg).
For the information report and discussions of the evening, we are happy to welcome:
- Prof. Dr. Sindy Fuhrmann (TU Freiberg)
- Prof. Dr. Kai Lawonn (Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena)
- Prof. Dr. Cathrin Zengerling (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg)
The event will take place online and will be held in German. A registration via e-mail is possible until 4th October, for Jena/FSU residents the deadline is prolonged until 8th October.
Info event series around the topic of "Tenure Track in Germany"
Jena University's Graduate Academy has teamed up with the Deutsche Gesellschaft Juniorprofessur (German Association Junior Professorship, DGJ) to organise three consecutive info evenings around the relatively new German career path of Tenure Track Professorship. The three evenings in October are meant to provide all interested audiences, particularly doctoral and postdoctoral researchers with a perspective to achieving a German professorship, with useful knowledge around Tenure Track as a career option and strategic career path.
