Welcome to the Language Centre

The courses at the Language Centre are primarily, but not exclusively, for students of the University Jena that have to, or want to, improve their language skills regardless of their faculty, department, or study subject.

The current course program can be found in the online course administration system Friedolin.

Depending on the available capacity also Doctoral candidates and employees of the FSU, students and Doctoral candidates of other German institutes of higher education, as well as guests may join our courses.

Apart from language courses, you can take internally administered language tests or prepare for international standardised tests.

As a rule, in order to participate in our language courses a nominal course fee has to be paid.
