Because of the coronavirus the Diversity Office staff are currently working from home. But please do not hesitate to contact us, either by email or – during our contact hours – by telephone. Learn more about our "Walk and Talk" offer here:

One side-effect of the coronavirus crisis is that a large number of students are getting into financial difficulties. The authorities are providing some emergency support, but this is not available to international students, amongst others. If you are in need of financial support, or would like to make a donation in this good cause, then please take a look at the FSU Corona Emergency Fund.

Our webpage is still at an early stage of development. If the information you are looking for isn't available yet, then please look again in a couple of weeks' time: or even better send us an email to tell us what you are looking for!

Welcome to the Diversity Office of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

We forster a community that is free of harassment, intimidation and aggression.

All members and and prospective students of the university should be able to pursue their work tasks, scientific activities or studies on an equal footing, independent of

  • of gender identity,
  • of sexual orientation,
  • of religion or belief,
  • of differential abilities,
  • of age,
  • of family responsibilities
  • or the socio-economic situation.

If you experience any disadvantage or discrimination on any of these grounds, please contact us.
