Special features
The study profiles, which are offered in cooperation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, are aimed at students who see themselves working in museums or in larger cultural institutions in the future.
The Folk Studies and Cultural History profile focuses on cultural anthropological approaches. It is possible to do project work in this profile and thus prepare yourself for a professional career in the museum sector.
The International Cultural Management profile enables students to acquire knowledge in human resources and communication management by taking modules at the University of Jena totaling 30 ECTS.
If you are interested in the cultural area of East Central Europe, you might want to choose the East-Central Europe profile. It is possible not only to take courses from the Slavic Studies modules, but also to learn an East-Central European language, e.g. Polish or Czech.
