It is organised by the International Office in close cooperation with many student groups and other institutions and is open to all students.
All events are included in the events calendar(steadily updated).

The Welcome Café always takes place in the International Centre during the Welcome Days. It is organised by international students and is aimed at new (international) students. At the WelcomeCafé, you can meet other new students and get tips on studying and living in Jena. Our workshops provide information on the topics of finding accommodation, visa application, study organization and much more. The WelcomeCafé team helps new students wit their questions about the enrolment.
Opening hours: 26 March - 10 April 2026 (except 3-6 April) / Mon-Fri 3-5 p.m.
