The Senate's Early Career Researchers Committee (Nachwuchsausschuss) is responsible in particular for preparing resolutions that concern fundamental matters of the advancement of early-career researchers and matters that go beyond the scope of a single faculty. These include, in particular, matters of career planning and good employment conditions. The non-student members of the committee also form the award committee for the state graduate scholarships. Furthermore, the committee is responsible for awarding the scholarships in the 'Scholarships for Female Postdocs in Transitional Periods' programme and for admission to the 'Honours Programme for Research-Oriented Students'.

You can find the current members of the Early Career Researchers Committee on the University website.
