Information Security

In times of increasing digitalisation and connectivity, maintaining information security at the university has top priority. In addition, the increasing number of cyber attacks and the resulting threats of system failure and data loss make it necessary to strengthen university IT and information security. At the university, confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information are ensured through technical as well as preventive measures to raise awareness of the issue.

For this purpose, in addition to comprehensive IT consulting and the establishment of an information security management system, the Office for Information Security is also committed to the development of a comprehensive awareness program. This program serves to increase problem and security awareness among the university's employees and students, as well as to educate them on how to recognize and properly respond to threats to IT and information security.
