Welcome Event for new employees and researchers

The Executive Board would like to warmly welcome all new employees and researchers to the Friedrich-Schiller University!

At this central welcome event, you will get to know the various units of the university and then have the opportunity to chat over some coffee and cake.

After an official welcome by the Executive Board, you will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the diverse support services offered by our university and clarify any questions you may have on the spot at our information market.

For new doctoral researchers and postdocs, there will be a target group-specific programme, organised by the Graduate Academy, following the main part of the event, starting at 10:30 a.m.

The event will take place on 30 October 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Rosensäle, Fürstengraben 27, 07743 Jena.
