The Thuringian Seal for Healthy Work certifies Thuringian companies and public service institutions that can demonstrate a proven commitment to employee health and healthy working conditions based on defined quality criteria. The University of Jena impressed the jury with its offerings in the areas of health, personnel development, exercise, family friendliness, and preventive care. The seal thus honors all those at the University of Jena who are committed to health, good and healthy working conditions, leadership, and work-life balance. Thank you very much for your dedication!

The sealExternal link is valid for three years and was awarded on November 5, 2025, by the “Healthy Work Network in ThuringiaExternal link” as part of Healthy Work Day 2025External link.

We are aware that the gold seal recognizes the numerous healthy work initiatives, but cannot reflect all individual experiences. For us, receiving the seal is therefore not an end in itself, but rather an impetus for further discussion about what constitutes good and healthy work at the University of Jena and how we can shape this together.
