The newsletter for PhD alumni is published up to twice a year and provides insights into current events at Friedrich Schiller University and in the city of Jena.
We are delighted that you have completed your doctorate at the University of Jena and hope that you were honoured at the festive ceremony on Schiller Day. Festive Ceremony on Schillertag
Image: Jan-Peter Kasper (University of Jena)The awarding of doctoral certificates takes place once a year during the PhD Graduation Ceremony on Schillertag. At this event, doctoral prizes and the Rowena Morse Prize are awarded, and doctoral graduates who completed their doctorates at the University of Jena during the previous academic year are honoured. Family members and friends, as well as all doctoral supervisors, are cordially invited to this event.
