Team Marketing and Events

The Marketing and Events department is part of the University Communications department and performs numerous tasks related to the university’s central marketing. The employees develop marketing measures for student recruitment, maintain the university’s corporate design, organize internal and external events, plan nationwide trade fair appearances and operate the university store.

  • Corporate Design

    A uniform appearance (corporate design) strengthens the visibility of the brand »Friedrich Schiller University Jena« at home and abroad and creates identification among students, employees and alumnae.

  • Student recruitment

    Arousing enthusiasm for the University of Jena and the city, providing information about the diverse range of courses on offer and, ultimately, attracting new students – these are the goals pursued by student marketing. We will be happy to advise you on how to achieve this.

  • Events

    We are happy to advise and support you in the design of your upcoming event. At the same time, we organize, among other things, the Summer Festival of the University of Jena and the Ceremonial Enrollment Ceremony.

  • Alumni service

    Our alumni are important to us. We would like to stay in contact with you, even after you have finished your studies. For this purpose, there is JenAlumni, the central alumni service of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
