You can only submit an application to study online only. Old paper application forms will no longer be accepted. International applicants find more information about the application at:

Emergency contact data
You may inform the Student administration abou the contact data of your family and friends for emergency situations by uploading the Emergency contact formpdf, 125 kb · de in the Study Portal Friedolin 2.0.
Re-registration
Guest students
Guest students may re-register for a subsequent semester only if you have been admitted to this or were allowed to extend your studies. If you wish to extend your studies, please fill in the application for extensiondoc, 45 kb · de and upload it in the Study Portal Friedolin 2.0External link (Student Service >> Applications >> Locking >> Submit documents to remove the lock).
Participants of the DSH course
Re-registration for a second DSH course semester
- Upload your positive certificate of course participation (Leistungsnachweis) issued at the end of the first semesterin the Study Portal Friedolin 2.0External link (Student Service >> Applications >> Locking >> Submit documents to remove the lock).
- In the comment, mention that you wish to take part in a second course semester.
- Pay the semester contribution and the course fee by 15 February/15 August.
- Take part in the entrance test (placement in course 1 is required).
Registration for the DSH exam
- Upload your positive certificate of course participation (Leistungsnachweis) issued at the end of the semester in the Study Portal Friedolin 2.0External link (Student Service >> Applications >> Further Applications >> DSH exam registration).
- In the comment, mention that you wish to take part in the DSH exam.
- Pay the examination fee and take part in the exam.
- Pay the semester contribution by 15 February/15 August and apply for enrolment to the regular study programme.
Participants of the Studienkolleg
You may re-register for the second semester by uploading the participation certificate of Internationales Studienzentrum Jena in the Study Portal Friedolin 2.0External link (Student Service >> Applications >> Locking >> Submit documents to remove the lock). Pay the semester contribution by 15 February/15 August.
