ZeTT+ - Future Centre for Digital Transformation Thuringia
ZeTT+ is an initiative dedicated to promoting digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and craft businesses in Thuringia. The aim of ZeTT+ is to strengthen the digital expertise and innovative capacity of the regional economy in order to secure competitiveness and successfully master future challenges.
The centre offers advisory services(s)|consultations, knowledge transfer and further training measures and thus actively supports companies in implementing digital technologies and business models.
The consortium is made up of five partners: Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Ilmenau University of Technology, Erfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arbeit und Leben Erfurt.

WeCaRe is a joint project of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Jena University Hospital (JUH). The aim of WeCaRe is to improve healthcare in Thuringia's structurally weak areas by providing advisory services(s)|consultations and networking partners from various subject) areas|field, such as science, business, politics and civil society. This is done by promoting innovative projects in the (subject) area|field of intelligent sensory telemedicine, thereby realising untapped potential and strengthening the regional economy.
With over 200 partners, including companies, research institutions and other stakeholders such as health insurance companies and associations, the alliance is developing sustainable approaches for comprehensive medical care in rural regions.

Collaborative research centre SFB/TRR 294 "Structural Change in Property"
The CRC/TRR 294 "Structural Change in Property" researches the changes in the property system and their effects on society and the economy. It investigates how property is changing in the face of global challenges such as digitalisation, economic concentration and ecological crisis. The aim is to develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of property, to analyse legal and socio-economic adaptation processes and to explore future options for shaping property in order to support fair and sustainable structural change.
The CRC/TRR 294 was facility|institution|(structural) unit at the University of Jena in 2021. Other participating universities: University of Erfurt, University of Oldenburg, Free University of Berlin, Technical University of Darmstadt; Saarland University, Leibniz Institute for Spatial Social Research, Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies.

The Thuringian Water Innovation Cluster (ThWIC) brings together stakeholders from research, development and practice to develop sustainable and progressive solutions for the challenges in the subject area|field of water management. The focus is on topics such as water treatment, water management, protection of water resources and efficient water utilisation.
ThWIC is coordinated by the Institute of Technical and Environmental Chemistry at the University of Jena and brings together 28 project partners. Nucleus Jena is an initiative of Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena and Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Its main objective is to optimise the transfer of research, knowledge and technology in Jena and the region of Eastern Thuringia. The aim is to make a contribution to solving economic, ecological and social challenges and to coping with current processes of change.
With a focus on regional development and sustainability and with a view to society-wide issues, the project creates new forms of cooperation and multidirectional exchange. By involving representatives from science, business and the general public, Nucleus Jena strives to transform the innovation system in Eastern Thuringia into a model region for successful transfer projects and interdisciplinary, practical research.
