International Internship in Taiwan

Partner University: National Chung Cheng University, College of Engineering

Duration: at least 9 weeks between 2 March and 31 December 2026.

Research topics: Two types of research projects are offered:
(A) with scholarship and (B) self-funded.

For Type A, CCU offers a scholarship of around NTD 12,000 (approx. €330) per 30 days, covering on-campus accommodation, living expenses, and part of the airfare.

P7: Computer Vision Applications Based on Deep Learning Techniques
P8: Impulse Radar Imaging System, mmWave /RF Intergrated Circuit Design and Energy Harvesting
P9: Renewable Energy Integration related Topics
P10: Development of Electrodes for Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis
P11: Numerical Modeling and Experiments of an Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Reactor
P12: Characterization of a Low pressure Discharge for Semiconductor Manufacturing
P13: Numerical Simulation of Boiling and Condensation Heat Transfer in Two Phase Immersion Cooling Systems
P14: Design of Computer aided Diagnosis Combined with Hyperspectral Imaging for Bio medical Applications
P15: Smart Sensing Technology for Smart Manufacturing
P16: Study of Water splitting, Electrocatalytic HER and OER, Ammonia Cracking and Li based Battery Applications
P17: Implementing Evaluation Scenarios in B 5 G/ 6 G Communication of IMT 2030

Programme eligibility:

• Graduate school students (master & PhD students)
• University junior students (3 rd year or above)
• Those who already complete PhD degree are NOT eligible to apply
• Passport holders of People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, or Macau are NOT eligible to apply
• Current degree seeking students, exchange, and visiting students in Taiwanese educational institutions are NOT eligible to apply
