The Graduate Academy is currently announcing two mentoring programmes for doctoral candidates who are planning to pursue a career outside the university. One programme is aimed at doctoral candidates in STEM subjects, and one programme is aimed at doctoral candidates in the humanities and social sciences.
In both programmes, doctoral researchers receive individual support from experienced professionals and leaders who have mastered the transition from academia to non-university fields of employment after completing their doctorates and are now able to pass on their knowledge and experience of structures, strategies and rules. In addition to this career mentoring, the programmes also offer joint networking activities and different workshops. Both programmes last 12 months.
Applications are open to German and international doctoral candidates at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, who are approaching a turning point in their professional careers.
