University Planning and Budget Committee

The Senate's University Planning and Budget Committee (Haushaltsausschuss) is primarily responsible for preparing resolutions on matters relating to university planning and budgetary affairs. Its remit includes the establishment, modification, and discontinuation of self-governing units, giving its consent to target and performance agreements between the University and the Thuringian Ministry for Science, as well as to the principles governing the allocation of funds. The Committee also issues opinions on the University's budget plan, annual financial statements, and fee regulations.
