The Senate's Academic Affairs Committee (Studienausschuss) draws up recommendations on fundamental questions relating to the design of studying and teaching at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. It prepares draft resolutions for establishing, changing, and discontinuing study programmes. In addition, the Committee deliberates on the study programme concepts of the individual faculties and the provisions of the respective study and examination regulations.
