Remaining spots abroad

Would you like to study at one of the University of Jena’s partner universities next year?

Then check out our lists of remaining spots and apply:

  • Erasmus+ Waitlist for a Stay in Europe

If you would like to apply for one of the remaining spots, please contact the program coordinator responsible for the available spots. Submit your Erasmus+ application to him or her (you can find the application form here). The program coordinator will decide who is awarded the spot. Before submitting your application materials, please research your desired host university online (semester dates, course offerings, etc.) and select the host university based on the following criteria:

    • Sufficient language proficiency in the working language (i.e., the local language or English) at a minimum B2 level, to be demonstrated before the start of your study abroad period
    • Sufficient course offerings in my working language, 30 ECTS per semester.

If you wish to apply for a program outside your field of study, you should first contact the program coordinator responsible for the available spot to inquire whether you are eligible to apply. Only then should you submit your application to them. Please note: In this case, there is an additional hurdle, as the host university abroad must also approve your application.

Once you have been offered a spot, the program coordinator will nominate you to the host university. You will then typically receive an email with application and course information, etc. At the same time (after the nomination), you will receive information from us on how to apply for the Erasmus grant as well as further organizational details regarding your Erasmus stay.

If you are interested in applying for a spot next year, you should apply as soon as possible, as the partner universities abroad have nomination deadlines that will expire in the coming weeks. After that, nominations will no longer be accepted.
