As a modern international university, Friedrich Schiller University Jena has over 200 partner universities worldwide, 580 Erasmus contracts, and more than 2,600 students and academics from over a hundred countries.
With its European and non-European partner universities and research institutions on all continents, the University of Jena fosters the exchange of students, academics and staff. It is a partner in a number of international research and university alliances, in large EU projects and interdisciplinary networks.
