Together with nine European partner universities, the University of Jena is working to establish a shared European space for education, research and innovation.
The alliance combines study, research and social engagement in close cooperation with the participating cities.
Students, university staff, the city administration, local businesses and interested members of the public – everyone can get involved with EC2U.

It facilitates study abroad placements at partner universities, as well as short-term programmes such as summer schools and forums, with financial support. Through attractive joint Master’s programmes and innovative teaching formats, students can pursue their studies in an interdisciplinary and international setting. Digital resources and programmes also promote orientation, intercultural skills and personal development.
