Together with nine European partner universities, the University of Jena is working to establish a shared European space for education, research and innovation.
The alliance combines study, research and social engagement in close cooperation with the participating cities.
Students, university staff, the city administration, local businesses and interested members of the public – everyone can get involved with EC2U.

From 20 to 22 October, nearly 80 students from the nine EC2U universities gathered in Salamanca to work on mental health and wellbeing, and to get to know each other and the city.

Image: Adobe StockThe EC2U Alliance offers students a wide range of opportunities to gain international experience in Europe. It facilitates study abroad placements at partner universities, as well as short-term programmes such as summer schools and forums, with financial support. Through attractive joint Master’s programmes and innovative teaching formats, students can pursue their studies in an interdisciplinary and international setting. Digital resources and programmes also promote orientation, intercultural skills and personal development.
