For undergraduate students in technology and engineering at German universities and universities of applied sciences

Fulbright Summer Study Program in the U.S.:
“Leaders in Entrepreneurship”
at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia
August 22–September 13, 2025

With practice-oriented seminars and team projects, this three-week program offers an excellent introduction to entrepreneurship at a prestigious American research university. Participants also gain direct insight into business and engineering studies in the U.S. and into American campus life.

For undergraduate students with a migrant background at German universities and universities of applied sciences

Fulbright Summer Study Program in the U.S.:
“Diversity Initiative”
at the University of Maryland, College Park in Maryland
from August 22 to September 20, 2025

The four-week program consists of four interconnected modules on the topics “Intro to DEI and Cultural Awareness,” “Exploring Privileges and Microaggressions,” “Leadership,” and “Community Engagement,” and offers participants the opportunity to engage intensively with concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). The academic program is complemented by excursions in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore metropolitan areas, and through interactions with U.S. students and faculty, participants gain insights into U.S. society and culture.
