Bridging Academia and Industry

The EC2U Alliance is organising the second Mentoring Webinar, 'Bridging Academia and Industry', which will take place online on 20 April 2026 from 3:00–5:00 PM CEST. The event will bring together PhD candidates and mentors from across Europe to explore career paths, develop skills and gain valuable insights into professional opportunities beyond academia.

We are currently seeking mentors who have a PhD and now work in industry, public administration, international agencies or NGOs. Mentors will participate in a two-hour online webinar, during which they will be expected to share their experience in small group discussions with mentees. In addition, they may choose to hold an individual session with a small number of selected PhD students at a later date.
