Self-study courses on Data & AI Literacy

The self-study courses enable a flexible and location-independent approach to topics relating to data and artificial intelligence. Basic concepts, methods and tools are taught in structured learning units.

The courses are open to students from all disciplines. No special prior knowledge is required.

Depending on the course, enrolment takes place via Moodle, the course Moodle of the University of Jena or the Virtual Campus Thuringia via the FSU account. The courses can be used in full or only in part, depending on your interests.

  • Python Learning Steps [German]

    This online course offers a practical introduction to the Python programming language using individual learning paths with concrete case studies from various subject areas (e.g. text analysis, tabular data). The course is aimed in particular at beginners without previous experience with programming languages.
