Graphic: AdobeStockThe Office for Digital Transformation continuously shapes and supports the development of the University of Jena's digital transformation strategy, also in cooperation with committees and stakeholder groups. It is also responsible for implementing legal frameworks, such as the AI Regulation, the Online Access Act, and the EU Regulation on Single Digital Gateway. A transparent and measurable implementation is ensured through an OKR-based approach (Objectives & Key Results).

This includes creating innovative and user-centred services, implementing digitalisation projects through planning and execution, and the development of added value from data and AI.

Ensuring clear orientation, good support and transparent cooperation with all affiliates and departments of the University are central to this. The Office supports the introduction of digital processes through training programmes and designs targeted measures to promote the development of digital skills. A key component of this work is the systematic collection and consideration of users' feedback.
