This Coffee Lecture will offer five different approaches to implementing concrete changes related to open source in your daily office routine. It will briefly explain why shifting your choice of digital tools away from market-leading monopolists and towards open source standards is not only sensible but essential. The applications OpenTalk (as an alternative to Zoom/Jitsi), LibreOffice (as an alternative to Microsoft 365), Excalidraw (as an alternative to Miro), Firefox (as an alternative to Adobe Acrobat Reader), and Element (as an alternative to Slack/Teams) will be presented.
