Register now for the 1st FORUM DIGITALE UNI 2026

On 1 and 2 June 2026 (9:00-16:00), Friedrich Schiller University Jena|University of Jena invites all students, teaching staff and employees to the first FORUM DIGITALE UNI JENA. Under the guiding theme of "Digital skills in everyday study, teaching, research and work", the event offers a central platform for learning about current developments, trying out new tools and exchanging experiences and perspectives.

The FORUM is deliberately aimed at all members of the university, regardless of whether you are studying, teaching, researching or working in the science support area|field. The aim is to strengthen digital skills in a practical way and promote dialogue about the digital transformation of the university.

What you can expect:

1 June - Online (via Zoom, flexible participation)

The first day of the event is deliberately designed to be low-threshold and flexible: You can put together your own personal programme and participate specifically in individual contributions.

The focus will be on

• Short presentations on topics such as AI in studying and teaching, digital examinations or process digitalisation
• Workshops and mini-tutorials in which you can try out tools and methods directly - from literature management and learning platforms to AI applications and research data management

2 June - Presence (on campus)

The second day focusses on personal interaction and creates space for consolidation, exchange and networking.

The focus is on:

• Trade fair with central facilities and projects presenting their digital tenders and services
• Thematic tables and exchange formats where you can engage in dialogue, discuss questions and contribute your own perspectives
