Greek history, art, Philosophy as well as cultural and religious history are equally included in the study and research of language and literature. The precursors and after-effects of Greek language and literature are also taken into account. You will acquire basic knowledge in the field of Classical Studies and Ancient History and a neighbouring discipline as well as a thorough knowledge of Greek literature and the ability to read, understand and interpret Greek texts independently in a critical examination of secondary literature.
