Friedrich Schiller University Jena has long offered various preventative measures to support its employees and researchers in taking care of themselves and their mental health (linkExternal link). The Studierendenwerk of the state of Thuringia also offers various counseling and support services in the field of mental health in Jena (linkExternal link).

With the support of the Jena Alliance of Graduate Schools “Life in Focus” de, the Graduate Academy has now created an additional offer at the interface between prevention and treatment. The MHFA first aiders come from a wide variety of institutions and are generally available to all university employees and young researchers (doctoral students and postdocs).
