Interdisziplinäre Graduiertenförderung

Das Projekt Jena Alliance "Life in Focus", welches von der Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung über sieben Jahre gefördert wird (2019-2025), unterstützt eine national und international sichtbare exzellente Graduiertenqualifizierung an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena über die Verbindung der universitären Profillinien LIFE und LIGHT.

Unter dem Dach der Graduierten-Akademie, die für ihre hohe Qualität in der Nachwuchsqualifizierung bekannt ist, vernetzt und stärkt die Jena Alliance die etablierten Graduiertenprogramme der Jena School for Microbial Communication (JSMC), der Jena School of Molecular Medicine (JSMM), der Abbe School of Photonics (ASP) und der Max Planck School of Photonics (MPSP). Die interdisziplinären und multidisziplinären Elemente der Graduiertenprogramme werden durch die Jena Alliance zusammengeführt und um innovative Aspekte moderner Promotionsprogramme erweitert.

Ziele der Jena Alliance:

Brücken bilden: Vernetzung der beteiligten Graduiertenschulen
Organisation von gemeinsamen Veranstaltungen
Koordination der internationalen Rekrutierung von Promovierenden
Weiterentwicklung des themenübergreifenden, interdisziplinären Qualifizierungsprogramms
Etablierung eines einheitlichen und interdisziplinären Betreuungsprogramms

The Jena School for Microbial Communication (JSMC) at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena is not only an Excellence Graduate School, but also a lively network of scientists from a broad variety of natural & life sciences institutes and an umbrella organization for three Research Training Groups in Jena.
